Introduction
DS-IPN.NET is a web shop application which makes use of the Paypal IPN system to process payments. When a customer purchases a product from your website, Paypal takes the payment and then contacts your site passing the relevant information to DS-IPN.NET's IPN processor.
The details of the transaction are then logged to a MS Access 2000 or SQL Server database, and then a download link is sent to the customer providing all the purchase information checks out.
Download links are secured to allow a customer to download the product only a few times (a provision in case a download fails) and once the first download has begun a time limit on further downloads is placed in order to reduce the risk of piracy.
Sales information is checked for fraudulent transactions such as repeated use of the same transaction ID and for incorrect payment amounts and recipients.

DS-IPN.NET provides an effective, extensible & powerful ecommerce solution providing automated delivery of digital goods by delivering secured dowload links via email whilst making use of Paypal's merchant capabilities.
