Intro
User Engine.NET is a user signup and authentication system which allows you to create members only area's on your website.
User Engine.NET uses a Microsoft Access 2000 database to store user information and logs date and time of user logins, as well as login counts.
When a user signs up, all inputs provided are fully validated to protect against SQL injection, to keep your data & your site safe.
The system is extensible and allows your web pages to be protected by inserting a single include line at the top, which will check if a user is logged in or not.
Further features are 'Remember Me' option using cookies to allow users to stay logged in until manually logging out, template based error pages to allow output pages generated during login & signup to be in the same style as your site and a forgotten password mailer.

Information stored includes;
- username

- address & telephone number (optional)
- birthdate & gender (optional) ,

The system is configurable and full documentation on how to add and remove required signup fields is provided.
